Crede Bailey Should Sue Trump and His Mob

Op Ed: Members of the US Secret Service details who protect out presidents are at risk. So far they have done a good job and they have improved after President Reagan was shot. They know the dangers going in but is it moral or legal to subject these public servants to the 100% preventable Coronavirus in the manner Trump did with his many super spreader events in the White House and at his MAGAt rallies?

When is comes to Federal Government Workers OSHA's protection applies to all federal agencies. Section 19 of the OSH Act makes federal agency heads responsible for providing safe and healthful working conditions for their workers. Crede Bailey was a federal employee and Trump knowingly placed him in preventable danger with his lies, super spreader events and anti mask environment.

Head of White House security office has his right foot amputated because of severe COVID-19 and is facing 'staggering medical bills,' new report says

  • The head of the White House security office, Crede Bailey, had a part of his lower right leg and the big toe of his left foot amputated because of COVID-19, Bloomberg reported on Monday.

  • Bailey has been hospitalized with a severe case of COVID-19 for three months but is said to be recovering.

  • Friends of Bailey's have raised over $35,000 through a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for his rehabilitation and "staggering" healthcare costs.

Crede Bailey, who heads the White House security office, lost part of his lower right leg, including his foot, and a toe of his left foot during a months-long battle with COVID-19, Bloomberg reported on Monday.

Bailey, whose office handles White House credentials and works with the Secret Service, contracted the coronavirus in September. He's been hospitalized for three months but is said to be recovering from the illness.

Friends of Bailey's have raised more than $35,000 through a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for his rehabilitation and healthcare.

"Crede beat COVID-19 but it came at a significant cost: his big toe on his left foot as well as his right foot and lower leg had to be amputated," Dawn McCrobie, who organized the fundraiser, wrote in an update last week.

A White House representative declined to comment about Bailey's condition to Business Insider. Bloomberg reported that Bailey's family requested that the White House not publicly acknowledge his illness.

McCrobie wrote last month that Bailey's family "has staggering medical bills from a hospital stay of 2+ months and still counting in the ICU and a long road ahead in rehab before he can go home." She added that Bailey would need to pay for alterations to his home and a car he could operate to accommodate his disability.

Many dozens of top administration officials and people tied to the White House have contracted COVID-19, and President Donald Trump has consistently downplayed the threat the virus poses. The president, who contracted the virus and was hospitalized for several days in October, has told Americans not to be afraid of COVID-19, mocked those who wear face masks, and condemned states' aggressive measures to slow the spread of the virus.

  1. Crede Bailey

Because of Trump's Crede Bailey lies and criminal negligence Crede Bailey has been hospitalized for 3 months due to COVID-19. He lost a leg and a big toe on his right foot.

As a federal employee Crede is entitled to protection under OSHA. He and other White House staff never received that protection due to Trump's COVID-19 lies, super spreaders and intimidating anti mask policies.

Our public servants deserve better, our first responders should not be subjected to preventable threats such as this virus. Anti-maskers pose a threat to all Americans and Trump has amplified that threat with his lies. To put this into perspective, 4% of knife wound victims die while 1.6 percent of people who get COVID-19 die and the percentage gets much higher in vulnerable populations. Crede is no spring chicken. Because of the damage COVID did to him. He will see an early grave.

Trump's maskless MAGAts are putting everyone at uneccessary risk. Don't get me wrong, I love it when COVID-19 kills one of them but these MAGAts are ruining everything.

What do you think would happen if someone brandished a knife at a cop? What if the cop used deadly force if he feared for his life? Would the cop be wrong?

Grandma and grandpa are at a much higher risk of dying from a COVID-19 spreading MAGAt slobbering a virus laden spit cloud in their faces than cop who has protection and training against knife wielding crazies. All anyone has against a virus spreading Trumpanzee is their immune system. If their genetics, age and health status in against them, they will get very sick and probably die.

Crede Bailey and other public servants deserve better. Trump and his family and his mobsters don't deserve the protection and service of our public servants nor do his sycophants.

By the time you read this there will be a reported 309,000+ covid deaths and more than 17 million cases. The good news is, most of the deaths will be MAGAts. The bad news is, some of them will be good people.

Send OSHA after Trump and bill him for all the damage he's done.
