#TraitorousThomTillis with TreaonousTrump at a MAGAt rally. None of the MAGAts are wearing masks.
OpEd: FUCK HIM! Sounds cruel! While Tillis spread the Trump virus aka the Hoax virus to a lot of death deserving MAGAts he also spreading it to human beings. Masks offer some protection to the wearer but their main function is to keep infected people from spreading the virus. The anti-maskers spread the virus to others and they don't care. Sadly the virus only kills and maims about 5% of the people who get it. Before this ends 100's of thousands of MAGAts will be dead or permanently injured by the virus.
There is no way I would which #TreasonousThomTillis a speedy and full recovery. He's an enemy of American and the free world, so fuck him! If he dies great and if he's permanently damaged from this virus, even better. Let's hope he's unable to spread the coronavirus to any humans. Terrible Thom needs to pay the price on earth before he's sentenced to eternity in hell.
Tillis is the second Senate Judiciary Committee member to announce he tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday. First was Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT). Sen. Lee met with Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett on Tuesday and met with Tillis on Wednesday.
Sen. Tillis is running for re-election in the U.S. Senate and just participated in his third debate with Democratic challenger Cal Cunningham Thursday night.
Cunningham tweeted Friday night wishing Sen. Tillis a speedy recovery and says he will be tested.
“I’m wishing @SenThomTillis a quick recovery following his positive COVID-19 test, and am thinking of him and his family. Because I was with Senator Tillis recently on the debate stage, I will also get tested,” Cunnigham tweeted.
Tillis for Senate campaign manager Luke Blanchat issued the following statement:
“Our campaign notified the Cunningham campaign and Spectrum News of Senator Tillis' positive COVID-19 test immediately after he received the results. The Tillis campaign staffers who were exposed to the Senator this week will now quarantine and will receive tests in the coming days. Our Charlotte campaign headquarters is now closed and we are halting all in-person campaign events until further notice. Additionally, we are reaching out to any individuals who may have come into contact with Senator Tillis during the campaign events we held this week,” the statement read.
Gov. Roy Cooper tweeted his well wishes to Sen. Tillis.
“Praying for a quick recovery for Senator Thom Tillis. This is a highly contagious virus, but we can work together to fight it by wearing a mask, washing our hands and waiting 6 feet apart,” Gov. Cooper wrote.
