There is little dispute that democracy in America is a mess. Partisanship has itself become a dog whistle for lawlessness, where gun-toting students harass their teachers in class for providing a balanced view of events. America has become a country where states flout long established national decisions and a partisan Supreme Court sits as idle observers ignoring the views of their esteemed predecessors. Yet, these are just examples of many, some more harrowing and disturbing, events that happen daily across the country. To many Americans the future looks bleak.

Did you ever wonder how we would get out of this mess? How we could turn back or push back on this tidal wave of fascism masked as ultra conservatism masked as legitimate politicking in a democracy?

Well, we may just be saved. You see, Republicans, or at least the base of support for Republicans, continue to refuse vaccinations and are getting sick and dying at a rate that exceeds Democrat supporters.

To be fair, many factors contribute to high COVID-19 death rates, such as poverty, access to health care (related to poverty), lack of and type of employment (also related to poverty) and age. These are but a few factors; there are others of course.

However, if we look at the geography of high rates of infection, illness, and deaths – especially since vaccines became available – they align to states where vaccination rates are lowest. The places where there are low uptake for vaccines are the same places where people continue to get ill and die at higher rates. These places are in states with high Republican support. In other words, the vaccine (each of them) works, but Republican supports don’t want it.

So if you’re vaccinated and a Democrat, sit back, relax, and wait it out. Time will take care of the craziest ones and America will regain its balanced perspectives. The future is not so bleak.

Whoopi, Speech, ABC, Jonathan Greenblatt and Hypocrisy

 I have a friend who has a vintage camera site on Facebook. I'll call him Abe Franklin. Abe is a criminal defense lawyer so he's very familiar with liars and scumbags. The trolls on Facebook along with the moderators are fucking with Abe. As you may know Germany was the world leader in optics and cameras until Japan made better stuff. Abe's group is about the history and collectible value of  film cameras. His members were discussing fake and counterfeit cameras that unscrupulous collectors are passing of as the real thing. He posted a picture of what he thought was a Russian camera being passed off and a vintage German camera used in WW-2. Some asshole flagged it as hate speech and a moderator from Mark Zuckerberg's Treason for Profit Platform suspended Abe's account because on the camera there was a tiny swastika. Abe's page is back up but he feels his speech is no squelched on his page because of assholes, Karens, liars and political correctness that the Nazis employed. Not only are we on a slippery slope we are sliding and breakneck speed. 

 In addition to being an inventor, historian and a camera expert he's a left leaning Jew. But he is a Messianic Jew. Perhaps you can hate him for that? I'm agnostic. Abe and no other Jewish members took offense at the German Nazi era camera. I doubt if anyone was a offended. Facebook's ambiguous rules state that nothing from a "hate regime" (What the fuck is a hate regime) can be posted. That would eliminate discussion of the GOP, everything South of the Mason Dixon line, anything about Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, the Roman Empire, the Crusades etc...

The Most Dangerous States In America Are The Red States

 It comes as no surprise and Republican run states have the most crime as well as the most poverty. But those poor assholes keep electing Republicans. Crime can tend to concentrate in areas that lack economic opportunity. In Alaska, 6.6% of the population was out of a job in 2018, the highest annual unemployment rate among states.

2. Tennessee

Tennessee has the highest violent crime rate of any state in the South and the third highest of any state nationwide. There were 42,226, violent crimes in Tennessee in 2018, more than double the number reported in Virginia, a state home to over 1.5 million more people than Tennessee.

Much of the violence reported in Tennessee in 2018 was committed in Memphis. The city accounted for roughly 30% of all violent crime in Tennessee and ranks as the most dangerous city in the state with a violent crime rate of 1,943.2 per 100,000.

3. Arkansas

Despite a slightly larger than average 3.6% reduction in violent crime from 2017 to 2018, Arkansas ranks among the five most dangerous states in the country. There were 543.6 violent crimes for every 100,000 people in the state in 2018, far higher than the 380.6 per 100,000 national rate.

Arkansas’s violent crime rate is due in no small part to the concentration of violence in a handful of cities. For example, in Pine Bluff there were 1,609.2 violent crimes for every 100,000 people in 2018. In West Memphis, the most dangerous city in the state, there were 1,970.2 per 100,000.

4. Nevada

The number of violent crimes committed in Nevada in 2018 fell by 1.5% from 2017 to 2018. The state also reported near nation-leading declines in murder and robbery, 24.1% and 20.2%, respectively. Still, the state also reported a 22.8% increase in rape over the same period, the second largest increase among states, and its overall violent crime rate of 541.1 per 100,000 people is the fifth highest in the country.

5. Alabama

Alabama’s violent crime rate of 519.6 incidents per 100,000 is the seventh highest among states. In the United States, poorer areas tend to have higher crime rates, and Alabama is no exception. The state’s poverty rate of 16.8% is also the seventh highest in the country and well above the 13.1% national poverty rate.

Aggravated assualt and murder are especially concentrated in the state. There were 7.8 homicides and 387.6 aggravated assaults for every 100,000 people in Alabama in 2018, each the fifth highest rate among states.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) was mocked by his critics on Tuesday after his years of fealty to former President Donald Trump backfired this week.

Over the weekend, Trump vowed to pardon his supporters who attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, in a failed attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Graham called that “inappropriate.”

And just like that, Trump turned on Graham, who has been one of his most subservient followers in the Senate.

“Lindsey Graham is wrong,” Trump said in an interview on Tuesday with right-wing media. “I mean, Lindsey is a nice guy, but he’s a RINO. Lindsey’s wrong.”

Trump insisted that his followers who attacked the Capitol “are not guilty” and said Graham “doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about.”

Jimmy Kimmel said there’s one way to stop Donald Trump and his cronies from trying to hijack future elections.

Trump and those around him, he noted, tried pressuring those responsible for the procedural parts of the process after losing in 2020.

“Trump tried to use all the ceremonial parts of the election to overthrow it,” he said. “It’s like he tried to stab us with a giant pair of ribbon-cutting scissors.”

But Kimmel warned that Trump’s effort is ongoing. The former president’s allies are now running to take over election boards and other agencies in battleground states so that next time he could conceivably pull it off.

“You know how we can fix this?” Kimmel said. “What if ― just throwing this out there ― what if the person who got the most votes in the election won?”

Kimmel’s audience cheered.

“I know it’s tricky,” he snarked as he put up visual aids to demonstrate his plan. “But I feel like there’s something there.”

The Proud Boys hashtag, which members of the far-right group have been using, was trending Sunday after gay men on Twitter hijacked it and flooded the feed with photos of their loved ones and families and with memes.

The Proud Boys recently made headlines by celebrating President Trump's reply at last week's debate, when he was asked to condemn White supremacists. The President instead used his allotted time to blame what he called "antifa and the left" for violence and to tell the Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by."

But now the gay men of Twitter are making the group's hashtag known for entirely different reasons.
Matt Dechaine, one of the men who pitched in with photos of himself and his husband in efforts to overtake the hashtag, said his goal was simply to spread joy.

"Seeing the hashtag was so uplifting," Dechaine, who is from England, told CNN.
"It feels like the movement for positive change for all is gathering momentum all the time and I'm glad to be a small part of it. By coming together rooted in respect and love for each other, the world can be so much better!"

But Enrique Tarrio, the leader and main dick sucker of the Proud Boys, said he doesn't see what the men are trying to accomplish.

"I think it's hysterical," Tarrio told CNN. "This isn't something that's offensive to us. It's not an insult. We aren't homophobic. We love being ass fucked. We don't care who people sleep with. People think it's going to bother us. It doesn't."

He added, "One of the messages they want to send with this is that they're trying to drown out our supporters, they're trying to silence us. ... When you're trying to drown out other people's thoughts, I don't think there's anything progressive about that. Why don't these people just engage?"


Tarrio, a Cuban American, is also the leader of the grassroots group Latinos for Trump.
The Anti-Defamation League calls the Proud Boys ideology "misogynistic, Islamophobic, transphobic, and anti-immigration." But realizes that dick sucking is what they like best.

Taking over #ProudBoys

Since Saturday night, the #ProudBoys hashtag has been posting photos of all their gay men, ranging from pictures of couples to memes and videos of gay men dancing.

Many people tweeted their support for the men who hijacked the hashtag.

"Good morning to nobody except the gays who highjacked the #ProudBoys hashtag," tweeted Jane Lytvynenko.

Other people used the opportunity to share their stories of love.

"Next year my husband I will celebrate 25 years together. We had to move to Canada to legally marry and adopt 2 of our sons. We're back in the US. Our family has grown. And we're fighting to save this country. Here's us voting for Biden, Harris and a Blue ticket. #ProudBoys," Bryce Tache tweeted.
Dechaine also shared a picture of him and his husband.
