People like John McCain are a large part of American heritage but you MAGAts have no genuine love for America. You MAGAts are at best partisans because partisans defend leaders while patriots defend nations. While you MAGAts are rootin for Putin and licking Trump’s anal aperture, patriots are defending nations.

The Catholics got it right with their concept of mortal vs venial sin. A venial sin is when you do something wrong on impulse but a mortal sin is when you do something wrong that you know is wrong and you do it anyway. This is what morally depraved people do. There is no way of stopping this short of a purge of the gene pool. We can fuss and complain about Trump and his mob as we try to place the blame entirely on Trump while the real evil is the Republican base. Because of them, a decent moral moderate or paleo-conservative now could never win a nomination within the GOP.
