Deutsche Bank Investigating Longtime Banker Of Donald Trump And Jared Kushner

The connection emerged in personal financial disclosures filed recently by Kushner and wife Ivanka Trump, who hold jobs as White House senior advisers.
Banker Rosemary Vrablic and two colleagues purchased an apartment on Park Avenue in Manhattan for about $1.5 million in 2013 from Bergel 715 Associates, The New York Times first reported Sunday. It was sold two years later for $1.85 million.

Deutsche Bank has begun an investigation into the longtime personal banker of Donald Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner for her purchase of a New York condo from a company partly owned by Kushner, according to two news reports.
The first daughter and Kushner received $1 million to $5 million from Bergel 715 in 2019, according to the couple’s required financial disclosures, which they filed Friday. It was the first time Bergel had appeared in their filings.
A source familiar with the business arrangement told The Times that Kushner owns a stake in Bergel, and did so when Vrablic purchased the condo. But the income reported from Bergel was not linked to the banker’s purchase, according to the source.
The Deutsche Bank investigation will determine if Vrablic acted improperly by purchasing the condo, according to The Hill. It’s typically against policy at banks for employees to do business — other than banking — with clients to avoid conflicts of interest, the Times noted
“The bank will closely examine the information that came to light on Friday and the [facts] from 2013,” bank spokesman Daniel Hunter said in a statement after learning of the Kushner connection to the condo.
Kushner and Donald Trump were clients of Vrablic when the banker bought the condo. Kushner introduced his father-in-law to her in 2011 when Trump was having a hard time finding a bank that would loan him money after his repeated bankruptcies and loan defaults, including one to Deutsche Bank, the Times noted.
By 2013, the men had received about $190 million in Deutsche Bank loans with Vrablic’s help — and hundreds of millions after that, according to the Times.
Trump borrowed $175 million for his Trump National Doral golf resort in Florida, and for the Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago in 2012. The bank later financed the Trump International Hotel in Washington, the Times reported.
Deutsche Bank is Trump’s biggest creditor. It has loaned the Trump Organization some $2 billion since 1998, and there are currently an estimated $350 million in loans outstanding, according to the Times. The loans are reportedly backed by a personal guarantee from Trump himself.
Christopher Smith, the general counsel for Kushner’s family firm Kushner Companies, told The Hill in a statement that “Kushner is not the managing partner of that entity and has no involvement with the sales of the apartments.”
It’s not clear how large a stake Kushner holds in the company.
Vrablic could not be reached for comment.
Deutsche Bank was fined a total of $630 million in 2017 in the U.S. and Britain over a $10 billion Russian money-laundering scheme. It was recently hit with a $150 million penalty for the bank’s lack of oversight in dealings with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The U.S. Department of Justice last year launched another probe into bank compliance with regulations to prevent money laundering. The investigation included a review of suspicious activity, including some linked to Kushner, sources told the Times. Amid the probe the president’s Trump Organization was reportedly pressing to postpone its bank loan payments.
The sticky situation underscored the unique power of Trump as president to maneuver a deal for his business, particularly with a bank under investigation by his own administration.
David Enrich, a Times business reporter who recently wrote a book on Deutsche Bank, “Dark Towers,” told NPR that the bank has been “worried” about a situation like this.
Bank officials are now “forced to choose between doing what seems like it’s financially right for the bank and for its regulators, versus doing what’s right to protect the relationship with someone who has the ability to inflict enormous damage on the institution if he is so inclined,” Enrich explained.
The scenario is the “absolute nightmare that someone (ahem) warned about” when Trump took office, Walter Shaub, the former head of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics under both Barack Obama and Trump, tweeted.
Trump did not divest from his businesses when he moved into the White House as other presidents have done to avoid conflicts of interest.

COVID-19 deaths spike 27% even as new cases decline

Even as the U.S. has seen moderate declines in new COVID-19 cases, the nation experienced a sharp rise in deaths related to the disease last week, according to a new government document reviewed by Yahoo News.
A senior leadership brief dated July 31 said there were 7,631 deaths in the week ranging from July 24 to July 30, a 27.1 percent increase over the previous seven days. The document, which was prepared by the Departments of Health and Human Services and Homeland Security, cited a case fatality rate of 1.7 percent over the past seven days.
Death rates vary among sources due to differences in reporting, as some states count deaths that happened weeks ago but were just confirmed as COVID-related. More than 150,000 people in the U.S. have died of COVID-19.
There were 449,482 new cases over the seven days prior to the document’s July 31 publication, a 4.1 percent decrease from the previous week. In all, the case count was moving up in nine states and territories, has plateaued in 20 and was in a downward trajectory in 27.

The positive test rate nationwide over the past week was 8.1 percent, a slight dip below the previous seven-day mark of 8.6 percent. Nearly a quarter of prioritized hospitals had more than 80 percent of their beds filled, which the CDC said had previously been consistent at 17 to 18 percent.
Deaths in the past week have been concentrated mainly in the South and in Western states, with a second CDC document showing deaths per 100,000 residents across much of Washington state, California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and the Carolinas.
The CDC now projects the death toll in the U.S. could hit 180,000 by Aug. 22. Dr. Deborah Birx, the Trump administration’s coronavirus coordinator, said “anything is possible” when asked about former Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Scott Gottlieb’s prediction that virus deaths could top 300,000 by the end of the year.
Birx told CNN on Sunday that we have entered a “new phase” with the virus.
“I want to be very clear: What we’re seeing today is different from March and April. It is extraordinarily widespread,” she said, adding, “So everybody who lives in a rural area, you are not immune.”
Birx’s latest warnings come amid increasing criticism for her support of President Trump, who has downplayed the threat of the virus.
“I think the president is spreading disinformation about the virus, and she is his appointee,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said of Birx Sunday on ABC News. “So I don’t have confidence there, no.”

A New York Times report last month described Birx as the “chief evangelist for the idea that the threat from the virus was fading” and who helped push a reopening plan that other experts say came too soon and led to a coronavirus resurgence in many parts of the country.
Even with the rise in deaths from COVID-19, the president has continued to push for schools to reopen in the fall and for states to reopen their economies.
But Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari told CBS News on Sunday morning that a lockdown to slow the spread of the virus could be the quickest way to safely reboot the economy.
“If we were to lock down hard for a month or six weeks, we could get the case count down so that our testing and our contact tracing was actually enough to control it,” Kashkari said.
“If we don’t do that,” he added, “and we just have this raging virus spread throughout the country with flare-ups and local lockdowns for the next year or two, which is entirely possible, we’re going to see many, many more business bankruptcies.”

My OpEd: This is extraordinarily good news. In spite of better was of treating coronavirus patients, the death toll is rising sharply with Bible Belt, the most sinful place on earth seeing the highest death rate. Trump Country continues to be decimated with filthy Florida and terrible Texas along with the God forsaken Bible getting pummeled by this scourge. Add hurricanes to the mix and the death toll will climb even higher.
There are two possible explanations for this and I suspect that they may both be the case.
1. COVID-19 cases are being under reported. Foul filthy Florida has a history of under reporting COVID-19 cases.
2. The poor health of the South due to the gluttonous and slovenly lifestyle of its inhabitants could explain the sharp rise in COVID-19 deaths.

Pedophile Trump Supporter Alan Dershowitz calls Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre a 'serial liar' while once again denying he ever had sex with her

  • A slew of court documents related to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were unsealed in federal court Friday.
  • They include testimony from Virginia Roberts Giuffre accusing former Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz of having sex with her while she was sex trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell's direction.
  • Dershowitz has adamantly denied the allegations over the years, and on Friday again tried to defend himself in a statement to Insider.
  • "Virginia Giuffre is a serial liar who has deliberately made up stories about me and others in the hopes of cashing in on millions of dollars," he said.
  • Giuffre and Dershowitz are involved in a thicket of defamation lawsuits stemming from him previously calling her a liar over the allegations.
Former Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz is once again denying that he had sex with Virginia Giuffre, who for years has maintained that accused sex traffickers Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell directed her to sleep with him while she was 17 years old.
Dershowitz's denial follows the release of another batch of court documents from a 2015 defamation suit between Giuffre and Ghislaine Maxwell, unsealed Thursday night.
Giuffre has publicly accused Epstein and Maxwell of sex-trafficking her starting in 2000. Maxwell has denied Giuffre's claims, which sparked the lawsuit. She has claimed that she had sex with Dershowitz on multiple occasions.
Dershowitz and Giuffre are also suing each other for defamation — a legal battle that was sparked in 2019 when Dershowitz denied the allegations and called Giuffre a liar. That lawsuit has spawned several counter-suits between the two and their respective lawyers.
Both Giuffre and Dershowitz have fought to get the documents unsealed — but for different reasons.
Giuffre has fought to expose what she says was a wide-ranging sex trafficking ring run by Epstein and Maxwell, which implicates a number of powerful people. Dershowitz has said the documents prove Giuffre is dishonest.
"I am gratified that Judge Loretta Preska has ordered the unsealing of documents in the Maxwell case," Dershowitz wrote in his statement. "I have been requesting the unsealing of all documents, because I have nothing to hide. I did absolutely nothing wrong, and the documents contain proof of my total innocence."
A representative for Giuffre says the new documents change nothing.
"We have been to this rodeo before with Alan Dershowitz," the representative said. "He has been recycling the same fantasies of his version of the truth for years."
Dershowitz, who became a household name when he defended OJ Simpson in his murder trial, had been friends with Epstein in the late 1990s and early 200s. He was also part of Epstein's legal team that brokered the lenient plea deal in 2008 that allowed the convicted sex offender to spend just 13 months in county jail while working from home for days.
Epstein died by suicide last August in a federal jail while awaiting trial on charges of sex-trafficking.

Giuffre and Dershowitz both claim the documents prove them right

Most of Giuffre's allegations against powerful men, including Dershowitz, were known prior to the document dump on Thursday. Many of the details were unveiled in a 2,000-page document dump from the same case a year ago, which also led Dershowitz to reiterate his claim that Giuffre was dishonest.
Giuffre has said she was 17 when Maxwell picked her up from now-President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago spa, where she worked at the time. She was hired as a masseuse for Epstein but has said she was groomed by Maxwell to have sex with him and others, including financier Glenn Dubin, model scout Jean Luc Brunel, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
Dubin, Brunel, and Richardson have also denied the allegations.
Maxwell was arrested on July 2 on charges related to the procuring and sexual abuse of minors. Her attorneys had unsuccessfully fought to keep defamation documents sealed. Preska ordered them to be unsealed, in part, so that they could be used in the case between Giuffre and Dershowitz.

In his statement Friday, Dershowitz attempted to paint Giuffre as a liar out to get money from wealthy men
He accused her of saying she was younger than she was when she met Maxwell and Epstein, about meeting Al and Tipper Gore on Epstein's private island, and about President Bill Clinton being flown to the island by Maxwell piloting a helicopter.
"She has roiled three continents with her accusations against politicians and other high profile individuals and yet the media has declined to conduct the kind of investigative reporting that it has rightfully done with regard to other accusers," Dershowitz said. "I welcome the unsealing of more records and a thorough investigation of all the allegations, and I am confident they will prove what I already know for certainty: that Virginia Giuffre is a serial liar who has deliberately made up stories about me and others in the hopes of cashing in on millions of dollars."

After Fauci Touts Europe's More Effective COVID-19 Tactics, Treasonous Trump Says He's 'Wrong!'

President Donald Trump on Saturday further shared his own interpretation of the coronavirus crisis, lashing out at Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, for explaining how Europe has been more successful at containing COVID-19 than the U.S. has.
“Wrong!” Trump tweeted from his golf resort in Potomac Falls, Virginia. He again brought up the rate of testing in the U.S., which he has repeatedly claimed “creates” more cases, arguing that the situation only looks worse here because more data is gathered.
More than 154,000 people have died from COVID-19 in the U.S., which is the highest national death toll in the world and nearly 23% of global coronavirus fatalities in a country with just 4% of the world’s population.
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, testified before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis on Friday.
He said America’s economic and activity shutdowns didn’t go nearly as far as Europe’s did, and that states lifted restrictions too soon.
“If you look at what happened in Europe, when they shut down or locked down or went to shelter in place — however you want to describe it — they really did it to the tune of about 95%-plus of the country,” Fauci testified. The U.S., on the other hand, “really functionally shut down only about 50% in the sense of the totality of the country.”
When restrictions were lifted in the U.S., the virus transmission rates were still significantly higher than Europe’s. “We started off with a very difficult baseline of transmission that was going on at the time that we tried to open up the country,” Fauci testified.
He also said some states did not “strictly” comply with recommended health guidelines, while others ignored them as people were “congregating in crowds and not wearing masks.”
As an illustration of the consequences, Fauci pointed a chart (pictured below) displayed by the subcommittee chairman, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.). The top line of the chart represents the trajectory of the virus in the U.S.; the lines far below represent cases in Europe, Canada and Japan.

As Fauci spoke on Friday, Trump went on the attack in a tweet, again blaming the increase in U.S. cases on testing, and calling the numbers “Lamestream media gold.”
As of Saturday, the U.S. had recorded 4.6 million confirmed cases of COVID-19.

IQ, COVID-19, Religion, Trump and Bible Belt Depravity

See the source image

Italy has a collective IQ of 103 while the US is 99. Factor out the BuyBull Belt and the red states and the US is on par with Europe and Japan. Connecticut's IQ 109. Stupidity is only 1/2 of it when it comes to the COVID-19 epidemic in the US. Depravity accounts for the rest. The South is a toilet for many reasons. The European stock in the South is different than the stock that migrated to Northeast.

The Puritans settled in the Northeast as did Catholics and Jews. All 3 groups were persecuted. Plus with the Jews and Catholics there is accountability for their transgressions. Puritans were Calvinists  who believed in predestination and the total depravity of mankind whereas the Southern Baptists believed that dunking someone in water assures them a place is heaven where they get to massage God's insatiable ego for all eternity and the other cults believe in salvation by gracthe which involves rolling around on the floor and babbling incoherently and that assures them of salvation. Biblically the Calvinists are correct.

Catholics confess and do penance for their transgressions and Jews make atonement while the Holy Rollers in the Bible Beltt believe the John 3:16 misinterpretation

COVID-19 Deaths Per 100,000

Infographic: COVID-19 Deaths Per 100,000 Inhabitants: A Comparison | Statista

The bad news is the US under Trump's blundering leadership will likely have more COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants. The good news is, most of the deaths from here on out will be Trump supporters. Keep feeding them Trump's lies.

A Letter To The Confederacy And Other MAGAt Traitors Who Deserve COVID-19: COVID-19 Will Ravage The Bible Belt

See the source image

As most of you know, as a patriotic American who believes in liberty and justice for all, I oppose the oppressors of humanity and would like to see them vanquished from the face of they earth never to return. One of the most foul oppressors of humanity was the Confederacy and now it's the neo Confederacy, neo-Confederates, most Republicans and the Bible belt.

In spite of a 5 month heads up COVID-19 is now running rampant in the South and deaths are up to 1000 per day and will reach 2000 per day. I see this as poetic justice. The trash pretended to believe that COVID-19 was the "Democrat hoax" Trump said is was. They continued spreading lies and fact free statements. They have sowed the wind and they are about to reap the whirlwind.

Some asshole/Trump MAGAts have accused me of being for eugenics when I expressed my joy that COVID-19 will infect and kill depraved, traitorous, anti-American racist scum truth denying fact hating Trump supporters.

I support anything that will removes traitors and those who would oppress humanity and drop kicks them into the void. That is not eugenics, When the Nazis killed Jews because they thought Jews were genetically defective that's eugenics dum dums. When my grandfather killed Nazis and his soldiers killed thousands of people like you Trumpers. That was moral. Had you MAGAts been around in 1789 France you would have been the first to be guillotined.

The treasonous racist trash in the Bible Belt has earned the wrath of normal humans. If their depraved selfishness kills them how can that not be a good thing?  Explain to everyone why think traitorous racist morally depraved selfish sub-humans should be allowed to continue their foul and dangerous behaviors that endanger the lives of the moral and innocent.

The trash in the Bible Belt who call their confederate swastika heritage have announced their total depravity. Their justification of crimes against shows exactly what their are so if their "Southern Pride" hypocrisy, treason, anti-Americanism, racism, oppression, and depravity leads to their destruction, I won't stop it. And when Dixie is cleansed of your ilk I will be there to piss on the graves of your filthy ancestors.
